We’ve teamed up with @thelittlemarket in a 10-part Changemaker series, because together we believe women are making world-shifting change. In honor of this, we are sitting down with Changemakers to hear how they’re pushing boundaries and problem-solving in pursuit of making a positive impact.
In the words of Dolores Huerta, the recipient of The Little Market’s 2022 Changemaker Award, “Sí se puede!” It means, “Yes we can!”
Next in the series, we have the huge honor of meeting Sarah Wright Olsen and hearing what it means to her to be a Changemaker.
What does it mean to be a Changemaker?
Following your curiosity, seeing where there is problem and working to find a solution. Listening to the needs of others and surrounding yourself with an amazing team to work together. As a team or a community you lead with love and empathy lifting up those around you as you work to make change. Leaning into the pivot because not matter what we create we will always be faced with challenges and understanding that every failure is a moment to learn.
How do you inspire the people around you?
I am inspired by the people around me and that excitement bubbles up and pours over and I want to champion all of those that I work with. You can always find ways to lift up and support those around you.
Who are three women you feel are making a huge change right now?
Greta Thunberg, Amanda Gorman, Malala Yousafzai

How does wearing The Changemaker make you feel?
Comfortable and relaxed.
Lastly, what does an average morning look like for you?
COFFEE, nursing my little one, answering and prioritizing emails, making a mental list of my day, having breakfast with my kids and hopefully sneaking in a workout.
